Master on Contemporary Arts Studies at Fluminense Federal University, Bachelor on cinema studies. teacher of expanded cinema studies at UNESA, filmmaker, film critic and festival director, programmer and curator. Editor of Multiplot Film Magazine, Owner of 7 a 1 Filmes, I was the director and curator of Festival Ecrã until early 2025. In 2024 I've released my first book called Curatorship as a sign of the times: art, technology and subversion in the digital age from my master's thesis.

From 2009 to 2016 I've worked as content producer and programming assistant at Brazilian Kids Film Festival and did the same for RioContentMarket (also known as Rio2C) from 2011 to 2015. I've worked as curator for Indie Festival from 2010 to 2015 and distribution assistant for Zeta Filmes in 2014. During my time at Indie Festival I've had the pleasure to curate a program dedicated to punk rock in 2015 and on the previously years, we brought to Brazil films directed by Evan Glodell, Philippe Garrel, Sergio Caballero, Béla Tarr, Joe Swanberg, Hong Sang Soo, Claire Denis, among others.
 
In 2017 I've decided to make my first short film called Spikes Protocol, which was selected for 40 film festivals around the globe. In 2018 me and Gabriel founded 7 a 1 Filmes and directed Permanent Vacation. Also in 2018 I've released online my short film called Kurt Everywhere. In partnership with Piercing Productions I've directed my first feature film called Dark Horizon in 2019. It was selected for 10 festivals so far and released on cinemas on 2022.  With Piercing and An After Party I've released the structural thriller film called Crime Scene which won the Best Film prize at FICIMAD and was selected to many festivals, including Brighton Film Festival and Belo Horizonte Int'l Film Festival (CineBH) and now it's available on some great streaming channels as Claro TV, Tubi TV, Amazon and Embaúba Play. My newest feature film called The World of the Dead had it's première at the competitive section of Tiradentes Film Festival last january.

As a film critic Pedro is a member of FIPRESCI and Abraccine (Brazilian Film Critics Association) and was part of the jury of Mar Del Plata, Montreal (FNC), FICI and Kinoforum festivals. Wrote pieces for three Abraccine books and texts for many catalogues.
